Asbestos Abatement

Non-Occupational Exposure to Asbestos

The wives and children of numerous workers that were exposed to asbestos in the work place have contracted cancer including mesothelioma, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer, esophageal cancer and cancer of the intestine. Quite often the wife of a worker exposed to asbestos washes the clothes of her husband with her and her children’s clothes. Consequently, we have seen cases of mesothelioma, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, throat cancer, esophageal cancer and cancer of the intestine in women and children with no occupational exposure to asbestos.
